During Agnès' stay in Japan in 2005, she was fascinated by Hiraku Suzuki’s work. She has initiated working together with him, resulting in a collaboration on bags. This season, in pursuit of her enthusiasm for art, Agnès joins hands with Hiraku Suzuki again to launch a new crossover series, “Signes Sauvage”, in our FW21 collection.Inspired by Hiraku Suzuki’s art style towards the traversing boundary between language and pictures, the black and white symbols were derived from echoing Agnès’ birthday last year. This dynamic symbols take a center stage adding an artsy whimsical touch on multiple crossover items. The shoulder bags and T-shirts have been translated into canvas that allow Hiraku Suzuki to interpret his dynamic symbol. The all-over print plays a cool artsy twist on your timeless style in the dull winter.
To know more about the story of Agnès and Hiraku Suzuki collaboration, we could start with a letter Hiraky wrote: “These pictorial and textual signs are fragments of my recent correspondences with A. When I first met A, our conversation went like this. (On the streets of Tokyo in 2005, when I was just another hooded B-Boy.) A: ”You’ve loved drawing and writing since you were a kid, haven’t you? ” H: ”Uh, yes” A: ”Then you're a friend of mine. ” And like that, my heart was struck with light. A light I had forgotten a long time ago and I knew that I had a friend. Someone who understood my work perhaps better than I did. From that moment on, A and I would have all the good times in the world. We would have Zubrowka together and draw/write things on stones, walls, and paper. A's eyes always seemed to be moving back and forth between pictures and words, movies and reality. Paris, New York, wherever I went, A's friends were there and I was introduced to them. My hero Jonas Mekas was one of them. A also told me stories of spending time with Basquiat and Picasso, both of whom continue to cast light in her heart. (Perhaps drawing/writing is a way of finding new and familiar friends in the expanse of time and space of the universe. That's how we connect the dots of light and acquire our own signs, I suppose.) On A's birthday last year, I scribed some signs that came to mind at the time, took pictures with my phone and sent them to her. A returned the mark of love as usual. A correspondence that will always be. With Friendship and Love for Agnès b. Hiraku Suzuki June 23, 2021”

Website: www.evolcare.com With the Air Jordan XXXVI, Jordan Brand decided to shed materials — taking the learnings from doing just that in the Air Jordan XXXIV and XXXV — and see how far they could go.“Light”was the muse. That muse unified teams of design specialists across the brand as they perfected the many definitions of the word. The Air Jordan XXXVI’s new features — a jacquard leno-weave upper, a full-length Zoom Air Strobel unit that’s double-stacked with a forefoot unit, a refined plate system — come from experts at Jordan Brand combining their specialties to make the best basketball shoe in the world. “We want those who love the brand to see something that’s always been a part of our design legacy: the power of teamwork that goes on between a core group of folks to create product excellence,” says Martin Lotti, VP, Jordan Brand Design. “Jordan Brand is inspired by one man, but it’s carried into the future by many, many people who are experts in their field.” By exploring three aspects of light, the Air Jordan XXXVI highlights the kind of collaborative work across Jordan Brand teams that leads the way for the next generation of players. The Air Jordan XXXVI collection releases August 17 onwards on NIKE.COM and at selected Jordan stores.

Tissot is reissuing an emblematic design from the late 1970s, with an integrated case and bracelet. The new PRX series is distinctive for its slenderness, the strength of its design and its timeless style. Travel back in time with the PRX series to one of the most iconic era of Tissot watch-making history. To celebrate the launch, Tissot Boutique at Harbour City has undergone a retro makeover to create a unique nostalgic experience for every customer. One of the most popular arcade games in the 70s, “Space Invaders”, will be available at Tissot Harbour City Boutique, lose yourself in the 70’s vibe ! The whole setting allows customers to reminisce the glorious period in a futuristic fashion and commence on a Tissot watch journey featuring the latest PRX series. “Innovator by tradition”, Tissot has always had a flair for designs that reflect their era. In the late 60s, Tissot eagerly embraced the exciting new freedom in watch shapes and launched oversize, colourful, psychedelic, pop-art watches that broke with the conformism of previous years. In the same spirit, the late 1970s saw the appearance of a series of Tissot watches that incorporated an integrated bracelet and the recently-introduced quartz movement. In 1978, Tissot was thus creating a quartz model characterised by a slender case, narrow hour markers and a steel bracelet. Its wide horizontal link, typical of the era’s designs, was fully integrated with the flat, barrel-shaped case. A few years later, Tissot registered the PRX name. “PR” stands for Precise and Robust, while “X”, in Roman numerals, stands for the 10 atmospheres of depth to which the watch remains water-resistant, or a total of 100 metres. To put the new PRX series under spotlight, Tissot launches different online and offline campaigns so that every watch lover can experience the classical appeal of the new watch. The#MY1978TISSOTMOMEN Best Vintage Style Award is now inviting submissions on Tissot’s social platform. Participants can upload photos dressed in 70s or 80s style and tag @Tissot Facebook page and #MY1978TISSOTMOMENT. Tissot and watch collector Jason Chan will select the best themed photos with the most likes. Winners will be awarded with a brand new PRX 40 205 watch. At the same time, Tissot Harbour City Boutique is also launching the “TISSOT ARCARD GAME CHALLENGE”. Participants will get 2 minitues game time upon liking Tissot Facebook Page @Tissot. The highest scorer during the game period will be rewarded with a brand new PRX 40 205 watch. For all watch lovers, don’t miss out the campaigns before May 21!

Agnès b. is delighted to unveil the grand opening of the exhibition “5 days in Moscow in 1987” at agnès b. RUE DE MARSEILLE concept store in Hong Kong starting from today. You’ll be invited to glimpse and enjoy a collection of more than 100 photographs taken by agnès b. during her stay in Moscow, the capital of the former Soviet Union in 1987. A memorandum written by Agnès b. and some collectible items that captured her exotic yet meaningful experience in Moscow will also be exhibited. In 1987, accompanied by the journalist and writer from the magazine ELLE, Philippe Trétiack, Agnès b. went to Moscow for 5 days and found herself cast into the unknown: silent crowds, immense spaces… far away from the Western landmarks she was familiar with. Agnès b. was on a mission to discover new fashion trends, new styles and new tastes, those of a world that was totally foreign and people whose daily lives were difficult. She observed and took notes everywhere she went, of people dressed in clothes without « style » and in gloomy colours. She met great couturiers whose traditions were far removed from her own. But above all, she took pictures: children clutching their parents, merchants with incredible costumes… And of many details that surprised her and gave her great pleasure in discovering. The photos are composed of monochrome and colour. This exhibition was shown at the agnès b. Marseille store and the Arles International Photo Festival in France, followed by Tokyo in January this year, and now debuts in Hong Kong for 2 months. DONATION TO THE HONG KONG YOUTH ARTS FOUNDATION Selected photographs, label with the autograph of Agnès b., will be available for sale. Put forward Agnès b.’s “Give Love” and sharing concept, 50% of the net proceeds of selected photographs sold will be donated toThe Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in support of creating more opportunities for youngsters who are disadvantaged and underprivileged to nurture their art talents.
